I cannot believe we are officially 1 year away from the Big Day! I feel like there's sooo much to do and sooo little time! This month, I've begun ordering samples and swatches of fabrics for table runners and bridesmaids dresses. I've discovered that I DO NOT like chiffon table runners - let's hope the gauzy ones are better. I've also been researching the finer details for our wedding: guest books, candle holders, lighting, photobooths, table numbers, etc. I've narrowed down a lot of options and I think Ron is on board with everything!
Next month, I want to focus more on my wedding dress. I seem to have interest in multiple styles and it's making it difficult to just PICK ONE. Ron already has his tux picked out - he's just gotta buy it. Guys seem to have it so much easier. *eye roll* I don't want to spend upwards of $3,000 on a dress, so I'm going to be daring and buy a dress online. Waaaayyyy cheaper and still beautiful and high quality! I've done a few "try-at-home" dresses and haven't found THE ONE... yet.
We have a meeting with a great local photographer on the 31st. I'm really hoping she'll work out - her pictures are breathtaking! You can check her out on Facebook: Rylee Jo Photo. Since we've already had engagement photos done, she said she'd substitute her complimentary engagement session for a bridal session in the snowy mountains after the wedding! Since we initially wanted a snowy mountain wedding (why are mountain resorts so expensive?!), this is a GREAT compromise to still get the epic pictures we want. :)
All in all, things are starting to move along!
