Eddie and I met out dancing. He asked me to dance, I told him I didn't want to, he said, "If you can't dance it's ok." I said, "I can dance I just don't want to." He said, "If you can't it's fine." I told him, "I never said I couldn't, I said I didn't want to." then took him out on the floor. Well, turns out I could dance because he followed me around the rest of the night:) I remember the end of the night seeing him across the room each of us going home with our friends (shout out to Holly!) and something inside of me said "It's ok, you can talk to this one." and I walked over to him, where he got my number. He called that night to see if I made it home okay. I was suprised because that's actually why he called, he just said, "I just wanted to be sure you were home safe." Well, that was 4 years and some months ago and he's still my dance partner:) |
