The closest airport is the Tahoe-Reno International Airport, approximately 37 miles away. 

We have a block of 1 & 2 bedroom suites held at the Forest Suites Resort.  The suites have pull out sofas.  The 1 bedroom suites ($149 per night) sleep 4 people.  The 2 bedroom suites ($209 per night) sleep 6.  They are cute little mini apartments with full kitchen and livingrooms.   In order to get this discounted price you have to call to make the reservation at (530) 541-6655 or go through this link, https://reservations.travelclick.com/4506?groupID=2465249.  The block will be released and the discounted price no longer available after August 2, 2019.  

The resort is located in Heavenly Village.  Right by the gondolas. In fact, the gondolas go right over the resort.  It is in walking distance to the casinos and a lot of really nice restaurants.  There is a pool, hot tub and fire pits.  Behind the resort is the Van Sickle Bi-State Park.  If you're into hiking or nature walks it's a really beautiful place. 

There are a lot of nice places to stay in Tahoe.  This is just one option and where we will be staying.
