April was working a double shift at Jason's Deli. It was late at night (almost closing) when a cute boy with his friends walked in. This group of friends were joking about something silly and making fun, when April chimed in on the name calling. After the boys laughed at her joke, they sat down at a table where they waited for their dinner order. April went to "check" on the table (after checking her hair in the mirror) hoping that the cute boy would notice her. Soon after, the boy approached her at the counter and said "my friends are jerks and won't let me leave unless I try to get your number." April, (blushing) happily handed it over.

Now, the "guy rule" is to wait 3 days to call a girl of interest. So, April impatiently waited for his call and assumed he was just some jerk that wanted to show off to his friends about how he could get a girl's number. Fortunately, April was wrong, but missed his call. She called him back and set up a date! Their first get together/ date was to see Toy Story 3 and walk around a small park called Cranes Roost. It was an amazing night, perfectly breezy with a clear sky and visible stars.

A month later, the couple quickly fell in love and moved in with each other. They have been together now for almost 6 years and are still madly in love.
