I first saw William at my place of work. He had just arrested an inmate and brought him into me. Immediatly, I was attracted to his strikingly good looks. However, I always told myself, I would NEVER date an officer. So I put the attraction I had towards him on the back burner. Over the next couple of months, while at work, we only had very short communications. A "hi" here and a "see you later" there. I made an effort to talk to him, just like I talk to every officer that came in, but he seemed to always run off so fast...

A couple of months later, we both went to a mutual friends party. This is where our friendship began. He actually started talking to me, more than a "hi" and a "bye". After that night, we began talking more frequently, on a friendly level. We talked about our problems, work, and just about everything in between. We both learned that we had a lot of things in common. 

Finally, on September 4, 2012, we went on our first date. It was amazing. It is the first date I have ever been on that I can actually remember the tiniest details. Ever since that first date we have been inseparable.

He finally proposed to me on July 17, 2012, which was truly one of the happiest nights of my life. I have never gotten along with someone so well. We are alike in so many ways, he is the "boy" version of myself. We are so perfect together. I love him.
