Our story may not be unique but it seems non-typical to me when I think about it. I had just moved to Ohio from New York and was looking for work. I applied for a receptionist's position at Shremshock Architects and Ben was the person who called me to set-up my first interview. He was in fact the person I met with for that first interview. After a second interview, I got the job. For the first few years of our acquaintance, our relationship remained a professional one. Ben was my boss and neither one of us was “free” at the time. It wasn’t until a few years later that our situations changed. This professional relationship was free to develop into friendship which blossomed into romance. We are now more in love with each other than we were on the day we realized we were meant to be together. We look forward to spending the rest of our lives growing more deeply in love and going through the journey of life together. |
Our attitude regarding weddings is "been there, done that!". Having said that, it is with our families blessings that we are choosing to "elope". We have chosen to keep our wedding intimate and simple by combining both the ceremony and our honeymoon into one romantic package.
