Cody and Lauren met in March 2008. One road trip from Prince George to Quesnel soon turned into many, and vice versa.

After patiently (or not so patiently on Lauren's part) waiting, Cody finally applied for a job at UNBC, and in October 2010 he moved to Prince George to be closer to Lauren.

In 2012 Cody decided he may be in the market to buy a ring... and when Lauren showed him the perfect one, he secretly made the purchase. He settled in, waiting for the perfect time to pop the question.

A birthday, a few camping trips, a road trip to Seattle, Christmas, Valentine's day, our 5 year anniversary and a snowmobiling trip up a mountain later, he decided it was time! A random Saturday morning after Lauren worked a night shift, was the perfect time to paste glow in the dark stars on the bedroom ceiling which read "Will you marry me?"

So here we are! Finally!!! The Countdown is on till' May 18th 2014 when common law goes out the door and we can celebrate our new life together with all our family and friends!

Sunday May 18 2014 will be the big day!

This is on the Victoria day long weekend. We are planning an outdoor ceremony in the afternoon, with an indoor dinner and reception to follow. As many of our Guests are traveling from far off lands we will try to keep this website updated as often as possible for info, accommodations, maps, etc... Soooooooo Save the Date =)

Our Ceremony will start at 2:30 pm with professional bridal party and family photos to follow in the garden at the Ceremony location.  

Remember it will be May in the North so lets all do some sunshine dances and hope for beautiful weather!

The reception will be held at The Exploration Place, which is at Fort George Park. While waiting for the reception to start, our guests may be treated to complimentary rides on the "Little Prince" a small passenger train that runs throughout the park. (Providing we all do our sunshine dance and its not raining =)

Reception will start at 6pm with dinner and twoonie bar, followed by dancing and a photobooth provided by our professional photographer.

The hotel is located in downtown PG and is very close to our reception location.
