Wendell and Crystal met in high school, while both attending Flint Southwestern Academy.  They were good friends and shared a common interest, track and field.  Both ran on the track team througout high school where they created a stong bond.  After the completion of high school, both individuals went their seperate ways.  Wendell moved to Detroit, MI to attend Wayne State University on a football scholarship, while Crystal remained in Flint, MI to attend the University of Michigan on an academic scholarship. They didn't really keep in contact.  

Fast forward, 6 years.....Through Facebook, the couple realized they had something in common, out of all cities and states, they were both living in Novi, MI at the time.  They swore to each other, they would find time and hang out to catch up.  As time passed, it never happened, until....one day Crystal called Wendell out of the blue, not to hang out but for a favor, to take her somewhere because her car was out of commission.  After that one conversation, it's where flames ignited once again.  They began to hang out, work out, date and eventually on September 21, 2014...they were engaged!

The ceremony is formal attire.  It's only a matter of time until until I take those first steps down the aisle in my wedding dress to become Mrs. Thompson! This will be an event to remember and we can't wait to share it with you!

Our recption will be fun and fabulous!  Please join us and celebrate our new lives as Mr. and Mrs. Thompson! There will be dining, dancing, and good times for all! Our wedding reception will follow our ceremony.  All information will be provided in our formal invitations.
