|  |  | It's funny, we grew up a mile apart. We went to the same high school, and Dawn used to work at a kiosk in the mall in the early 90's outside Jordan Marsh where I was working, but we actually met on Myspace. We started emailing each other, and a couple weeks later, we had our first date! We went to dinner at Sam Diego's and saw a movie starring Adam Sandler, "Bedtime Stories." The rest, shall we say, is history.

|  | Our ceremony will take place on a cranberry bog located in West Yarmouth, MA. This location means a lot to us, because this is where we walk our dog Tessie, and it is so beautiful and peaceful here, especially in the Fall. We chose to be married in October in hopes that there will be at least some color changes not only with the leaves but with the bog itself. This is our dream ceremony location, and we can't wait to share this unique bog wedding experience with our families and friends! Ceremony will start at 5:15 pm. Directions to the bog: From Route 28: If you are heading South on 28 toward Yarmouth: Look for Takis Pizza on the right. Take a left onto West Yarmouth Road, after Takis Pizza. Hunters Green Hotel is right across from the road. When you get to the lights (where West Yarmouth Road and Buck Island Road intersect), go straight. The main bog entrance is on the right, a little less than a quarter mile after the lights. If you are heading North on 28 toward Yarmouth: Look for Red Face Jack's on the left. After the lights, West Yarmouth Road is on the right, immediately after the cemetary. Parking: You may park along the side of the road. If entrance to bog is open, you may park inside, immediately to the left (by the sand pile). It will take about five minutes to walk from the entrance out to where our ceremony will take place. Just walk straight along the path that is right in front of the entrance, we will have signs pointing the way.
|  | We will have a fun bog-themed reception with a buffet-style dinner, The Grab Brothers band, cash bar, and dancing at the Moose Family Center in South Yarmouth, MA, immediately following the ceremony. They have a great reception room here, perfect for dancing and mingling! Appetizers will be available at 6:00. Dinner will start at around 6:45, reception will go until 11:00. Directions to the lodge: Head toward Buck Island Road/West Yarmouth Road intersection. Take a left onto Buck Island Road. Take a right onto Winslow Gray Road. Take a left at the lights onto Route 28. Moose Family Center Lodge is less than a mile, on right(#769). |  | Although bride, groom, and wedding party will be dressed up, casual dress is fine for guests. Feel free to bring a blanket to sit on if you like! Some chairs will be available to those who need them.
Our ceremony will take place outside light rain or shine, warm or cold, so please be sure to dress accordingly (shoes with high heels and/or thin heels are discouraged), and bring umbrellas and boots in case of rain, as the bog can get muddy. In the event of heavy downpour and/or high winds, ceremony will take place at the Moose Family Center, same place as our reception. Check back here for last minute updates! ....Well, looks like it will be sunny most of the day, with some passing showers around the time of the wedding. Bring those umbrellas!!
