Michael and I met officially our Freshman year of high school at Stagg High in 1999.  A friend of mine had been "dating" his older brother and she wanted me to meet Michael.  So during his basketball game at Lodi High, she pointed him out to me-- he was #23.  So being young and immature at 14, I yelled, "#23 has a nice butt!"  After his game, we all sat in the bleachers and watched the rest of the basketball games.  We didn't do much talking...well, Michael never does!  But somehow, we dated (very briefly) that year and that was about the end of that, lol.

Fast forward to Senior year...I had just been through a break up with my first love and Michael happened to see me crying after school.  While we had never spoken over the coarse of the three previous years, for some reason he decided to speak to me on that day.  From that moment on, we haven't been apart (figuratively speaking).

That day was almost 12 years ago, and we have been apart of each other's lives since then.  We've gone through so much-- definitely trials and tribulations; but we have also grown so much as well- together.  No matter what we we're going through over the years, we never really could just give up on our relationship.  Our love just wouldn't let go and now we are in love more than ever.

In love, happier than ever, and with the most amazing two kids anyone can ever have, we decided to make it official and have asked our family and closest friends to witness our matrimony.  We hope that everyone can join us and celebrate this exciting moment in our lives- all while partying it up in Vegas!!!

Michael and I LOVE Las Vegas...plus, we are simple and didn't want an over the top 200+ guestlist type wedding.  For us, we wanted to have just those closest to us, a small ceremony and dinner, followed by partying the night away!! What better place than Las Vegas?!  We love the night life, the great places to eat, the dancing, staying out all night on the strip, and of course, the gambling (must be the filipino in us, lol)!!

The ceremony will take place at the Valley of Falls at the Mandalay Bay Resort.  Please note that the weather in September should still be in the 90's followed with a breeze and our ceremony will be outside under a covered area.

Dinner will be following the ceremony at Firefly- just off the strip.  Firefly is a Spanish tapas style restaurant and we hope that everyone will enjoy the array of food we have selected.  After dinner, you are welcome to party with the wedding party or divert to your own plans, but we want you to make the most of the night and enjoy the exciting nightlife of Las Vegas!

**Note:  We ask that our immediate family and wedding party to stay for pictures just as the ceremony commences before heading to the restaurant.

Michael and I would like to thank everyone who has helped us along the way to get to where we are now.  We are truly blessed to have amazing families friends that have continued to support us and our children throughout these years.  We cherish the love, support, friendship, advice, and help that all of you have given us.  We wouldn't be standing here today had it not been for you all who have stood right behind when times were rough and even when times were great.  We love you all and are so excited to have you with us on this day!  Thank you for visiting our wedding website and honeymoon registry.  ~09.27.14~
