Liz: We met at the original Southgate House. We had mutual aquiantances but by happenstance had never met. We were fairly alone in the room, so Bethany came over to me and simply introduced herself. We spent the entire night talking about everything (including how bethany was only looking for friends) and then I went and played my set. She ditched me before the end of my set, but later that night we met up for a drink. That week we met up for dinner and the worst movie ever. After that, we were pretty much inseparable.  

Bethany: i was going out for a night of music... finally available to see the Tillers play. My plan was to hit up the Southgate House before going over the MOTR. Of course shows never start on time, so i had some time to kill at the Southgate House and when a friend mentioned that Liz was over in the corner... i thought, 'i should introduce myself.' i had heard her play before and thought she was cute.

We hit it off immediately... talked about basically everything: mental health, addiction, music, life.

After that night, i couldn't get enough of her.

Liz: Our relationship moved along quickly. We moved in with each other after 6 months, and I gave her the ring and asked her to be my partner forever just 10 months after we met.

when it's right, you just know.

After buying the ring off the just dumped jewelry saleswoman who wouldnt stop crying, I finally gathered the courage to give Bethany the ring.

One night, I just kind of threw it at her after having been so nervous I forgot all of the different plans I made on how to ask her.

Bethany: after spending a short time with liz, i knew that she was the one. i remember thinking early on that i wanted to spend as much time as possible with her. she became my best friend and when we starting talking about marriage and forever it felt right... wonderful.

she took me out to look at rings... the rings i looked at weren't even close to as beautiful as the one she gave me.

of course, i said yes!

We have each been living on our own for over 10 years and by the time of our wedding we will have been living together for over 2 years. In that time frame, we've been able to amass much of the "stuff" you need to set up a home.

So we want to thank you for your gift which will enable us to take a once in a lifetime trip.

We'll have directions with the hotel to and from Longworth Hall.
