I was raised in Butler, PA and decided that I wanted to attend college out of state. Fortunately, Alex and I both chose Appalchian State University in beautiful Boone, NC. Luckily, geography brought us even closer than that; we first met as neighbors living in the same apartment complex (I guess Kensington Meadows wasn't so bad!). Although our initial college relationship didn't work out, we remained in each other's lives, did some growing up on both parts, and we began dating again a few years later. Although we've had some obstacles throughout our relationship - long distance, the Marine Corps, graduate school - our love has grown daily. Alex is the kindest, funniest, hardest working, and most loving man I know. I feel incredibly blessed to call him my fiance and my best friend, and can't wait to spend our lives together!

I met Emily in my senior year at Appalachian State. We were neighbors for several months before I finally got the gumption to talk to her. With a little help from my friends Jack, Jim, and Jose, or the Three J's as I call them, I gained the courage to ask her out on a date. Unfortunately, I graduated and we grew apart, but one thing was still certain, I loved her. After two years, and a lot of growing up, we decided to reboot our relationship. My love for her only grows each day. She is the most incredible, beautiful, and intelligent woman I could ask for and I am blessed to have her in my life. I've never been the kind of guy that has wanted to wear a ring, (i.e. Class ring, mood ring, ear ring etc.) but I am very excited to wear my wedding band as proof of the woman who has my heart.

We wanted our ceremony to be an intimate affair so we chose to have it with our immediate family only.

We'd love to celebrate our special day with everyone by bar hopping in downtown Winston-Salem. We're looking forward to an extremely fun and laid back evening with our extended family and friends! The meeting place will be Jeffrey Adams on Fourth Street and we can all make our way from there together!
