Robert and Jackie met on Match.com - March 2013.
Separated by the Pacific Ocean, they began to date via phone calls,
face time dates, video messages and emails.
Rob spent one month leave in San Diego, June 2013
with Jackie and officially asked her to be his GF by giving
her his dog tags June 9th, 2013. Rob returned to Japan and would return
to San Diego in the fall.
They spent 3 months apart which seemed like an eternity to Jackie.
Rob finally returned to Sunny San Diego, Septmeber 2013 with his new
orders for MCRD San Diego. Fast forward days, weeks, months, family
holidays and two pappillons later - Rob asked Jackie to marry him on June
9th, 2014.
