Welcome

Technically the very first time we hungout was at Johnson Valley (up in Victorville/ Big Bear area) riding dirtbikes with all the guys one day when I crashed into the one rock on an entire sand hill.

But, if you count an official "date" with just us two it would be when I had an extra ticket to a Ducks game and sent Ryan a message on facebook to see if he would want to go. He said "Sure" and picked me up that Friday night and we drove to the Pond for a Ducks Game. Seats were in a good Club section and we made our rounds back and fourth getting Margaritas. We were both pretty nervous and didn't know what to talk about. Can you imagine both of us being short for words?  LOL  Not sure what would come of it, if anything... just a nice person to keep company with at a rad event.  Who woulda known that was just the beginning.

It's close to Thanksgiving, Ryan's hobbling around on crutches from major ankle surgery and Jen is just recovered from her shoulder fracture. Two peas in a pod we switch off injuries.  We went up to our friends cabin in Big Bear with the dogs to get away and change the scenery (taking break from riding).  Little did I know that Ryan had a plan for the weekend and was waiting for just the right time.

We get up to Big Bear and he can't sit still, "common Jen, lets go drive around check out the area."  I'm thinking it's BB, not too much to do especially since were both injured. We drive all over, both sides of the lake, up in random hills, etc.  Then back to the cabin and go about the days like nothing.

Then, one morning we take the dogs out back to play ball and let Bailey walk around and stretch. Afterwards Ryan suggests "let's take the dogs on a walk around the neighborhood."  I'm thinking ok but BORING.  :)  We walk up and down the streets, check out new areas, and meet some neighbors. Then back to the cabin.

Ryan's hobbling up the driveway on crutches in middle of snow, going way to slow. He's says "Jen, come here.." I tell him "Don't think I'm carrying you up this driveway piggyback."  As I get closer I'm thinking his ankle is sore from all the walking and he needs help. I get to him and he's slowly grabbing the crutch and going down to his knees. AHHH I knew right then  "What are you doing?"  Then he goes about asking me to marry hiim, how we are just right for eachother, and how it's so great we love all the same things. I love you, YES!!!

The dogs are confused were halfway up the steep driveway and it's freezing outside. I help him up to his feet with crutches and we make it back in the cabin. It seems as though EVERYONE knew except me.  I was surprised he was able to keep it a secret for that long.

We are looking forward to getting married in Jamaica on June 29th.  Ryan and I wanted our ceremony to be small, tropical, and with immediate family.  We were thinking of something unique that none of our other friends had done that would be special to us. What other place then a resort on a 7 mile white sand beach and a sunset wedding!

Some of you may be sad that you are missing the event but we are haivng everything videotaped and will be streaming the video at our reception all night.

Country BBQ in Temecula with moonshine and daisys! We thought long and hard and wanted our reception to be UNIQUE and tailored to Ryan and I.  We are not your typical couple and our reception is one of a kind.

You'll wind your way into Meadowview surrounded by custom country homes and green open meadows.  Horses, chickens, and wineries at every turn.  Pulling up to the house you'll see a huge BBQ smoker, flowers, and applecobbler to die for!

Summertime bbq with our closeset friends and family celebrating Ryan and I.  Laughter, story telling, and great memories will be shared as the day turns to night.  Skies clear enough to see the stars surrounded by everyone that is important to us..

If you are reading this then Ryan and I would like to thank you and let you know that we appreciate having you in our lives and supporting us as a couple.  We hope that you have a great time at the Celebration and continue to be a huge part in our lives as we become The Barlow's.

Thank you for sharing in all the great times and being there for us on the down.  Friends and family mean alot to us and along our road we'll continue to have parties and holidays and involve you all.

We look forward to many more good times and hope that you all go out and buy some trailors and come camping with us in OCOTILLO.  The more the merrier and your always invited to any desert trip we plan!   :)

Love,

Jen & Ryan
