While we are both from the same town, we had never formerly been introduced.  We met at a wedding of a mutual friend (also my Matron of Honor!) in October 2010.  Adam's mother introduced us after we had been caught checking each other out ;)  Over the course of the next couple months we chatted and became good friends.  In January 2011 we went on our first date and have been inseperable ever since.

While I was at graduate school, Adam was at the apartment making dinner, waiting for me to come home.  He kept calling me, asking when I would be home and telling me to hurry because my sister's pet chinchilla was doing crazy tricks in her cage.  I just said o.k., and I would be home shortly.  When I opened the door, I found the living room lit with a million candles, and rose petals on the floor that spelled out "Will You Marry Me?" - with Adam standing in the middle :)  I was in complete shock and barely remember how I even got in the door!  Adam got on one knee, and the rest is still blurry!  I couldn't take my eyes off of the gorgeous ring he was holding in his hand.  I, of course, said yes and couldn't be happier :)

Adam and I will be going to Sandals Montego Bay in Jamaica.  Both of us are very excited because this is a first-time experience for the both of us.  We will be leaving 2 days after the wedding for a 7 day, 7 night trip at an all-inclusive resort.  This resort is absolutely breath-taking and offers a variety of activities for us to participate in.  These activities include hiking, snorkeling, para-sailing, zip-lining, and much more!  Along with those activities is the opportunity to pamper ourselves in the spa located in the resort.  We have the ability to travel betwen neighboring Sandals resorts to enjoy their amentities, as well.  Our hotel room has a balcony with a spectacular view, and only steps away from the beach.  We are looking forward to spending time together as newlyweds at this gorgeous resort.

Adam and I decided to register at a few different places, in order to give our guests plenty of options.  This website was created to show our guests where we are going for our honeymoon, and give them the option to help us to enjoy this special time.  We thought this would be a good idea because there are already many household items that we have accumulated throughout our years. This way we will be able to enjoy a honeymoon, rather then another toaster :)
