Welcome! You probably know us pretty well by now, but maybe not, but we're so happy you're here. The day is approaching that Shane and I will say "I do's" and the happily ever after begins! If you don't know how we all came to be, I'll share a short tidbit that will hopefully make you smile. :)

It all started up in Maine--in the winter--when I was a new employee at Bath Iron Works. New and clueless in this industry, I was paired with experienced technicians to learn the ropes, so they say. Shane, this guy who talked funny from Georgia (who definitely didn't like the cold!), was one of them. He seemed a little intimidating at first, but I soon found he was a great teacher and became a great friend. Fast forward, and here we are!

We've chosen the beautiful Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine. As Maine is where we met, and I grew up with the ocean in my life, we thought this would be a perfect spot. 

Our dream trip would be Scotland! I've never been overseas, and the both of us love the thought of visiting the rolling landscape, castles, churches, pubs, and just having a wonderful adventure! We've also done some research and we both have ancestors over there too. 

While we'd love to have the usual gifts of silverware, towels, and other housewares, we don't really have the space...or an actual house yet! We'd appreciate making memories for now, and later, we'll settle down. :)
