When thinking about where to get married, it was an easy, but not so easy choice.  We have always known that we wanted to be married on the beach, barefoot with our toes in the sand and the beautiful ocean as a backdrop.  While the North Carolina Outer Banks are our favorite beaches, the weather in November can be quite cold and rainy, so we have decided to have a destination wedding and be married in a warm sunny spot with beautiful clear water and white sandy beaches.

We will be married on November 7, 2012 on the beach at Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico!  We will be having a small wedding with our family and closest friends so that we can have the small intimate wedding that we have always talked about.  

We will be leaving November 3 and staying in beautiful Mexico for two weeks.  For the first six days we plan on spending some much needed, uninterrupted time with our family and friends, and finally saying "I DO" on November 7.  

From November 9 to November 17, we will be spending our honeymoon together and enjoying our time as newly weds!  

We wish that we could include everyone in this trip and we thank you for respecting our wishes for a small intimate ceremony.  We would like to invite everyone to join us for a reception in our home town, Bryson City, shortly after we return.  We will inform you of exactly when and where when we have made solid plans!

We have had many people asking where we are registered.  We have decided to register for a honeymoon because that is what is important to us and we feel very lucky not need anything for our home or ourselves.  

To us, there is no better gift than the gift of time alone with each other!
