Welcome

December 2008, Charles and I were introduced (blindly) through a mutual source. Our first date was at a Hawks Basketball game. Prior to the first date and on my birthday January 6th, Charles surprised with an edible arrangement which was delivered to my job. The fruit was arranged in a ceramic basketball vase with a variety of fruits to include my favorite...chocolate covered strawberries. The man was definitely listening.

Fast forward as our relationship continued to bloom it had become evident that this may be the ONE. Charles actually set the date 11/11/11 (yes Charles) and soon after he was on a mission to find the perfect ring. Something different and unique.

Well I am pleased to say "HE DID GOOD YALL". Charles surprised me with a beautiful chocolate diamond engagement ring on March 4, 2011 at 11:05pm.

The proposal did not go quite as he had envisioned. His plan was to present the ring

to me right after a Hawks game we were attending that night. As we headed out of the arena he

stopped and said, "Oops I left something" and proceeded to return to our seats. Ordinarily I would have followed him but my feet were hurting so I just stood there waiting and waiting.

After realizing I was not coming we left the arena and he took me home.

It was then; my Sweetie popped the question and presented my engagement ring.

I am so elated and cannot wait to become Mrs. Charles D. Reese.

I have always imagined my wedding day to be Elegant and Intimate along side the ocean. That day is about to be realized.

On the beach in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Island on November 11, 2011, we will have our wedding ceremony.

We will exchange our vows in the presence of God, our Mothers and a few loved ones.

We decided not to follow all the doctrine of a traditional ceremony and we have chosen to write our own vows because no one else can express our true feelings better than we can.

It is our day and the details of the ceremony will represent who we are as a couple and as individuals.

Immediately following our beach ceremony we will be transported to nearby boat dock where a private boat will be waiting.  We will sail the beautiful waters of St. Thomas and partake in an open bar and a selection of appetizers.
