We met during our college days at WVU over eleven years ago. Since then we have lived in Morgantown for a few years and eventually have made St. Albans, West Virginia our home.  We love spending time with our two dogs, Zoe and Max!  We also love live music and most importantly, WVU Sporting Events. 

We were engaged on May 26, 2013.  Scott surprised Lindsay in the parking lot of one of her favorite Mexican restaurants on a Sunday evening! Neither one of us are really into big, fancy weddings so we're planning a wedding that is a reflection of who we are.  It'll be pretty laidback, fun, and full of good music!  

The wedding ceremony will take place at Latrobe United Presbyterian Church at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 9, 2014! We cannot wait and are looking forward to sharing the special day with family and friends.  After the ceremony, the reception will begin at 5pm at the Cooperstown Event Center.  It will be an adult only reception!  Don't be late!  We don't want to miss a single second of our reception and are anxious to get the party started so the bride and groom will be announced shortly after 5pm (assuming we can stay on schedule).  Dinner will soon follow to leave plenty of time to dance the night away. 

FYI - The Pittsburgh Steeler Training Camp is taking place at St. Vincent College(less than a mile from hotel) during this weekend.  Please allow a few extra minutes when travelling to the ceremony in case you hit any traffic from this event =)

For those of you travelling from out of state...

You can fly into Pittsburgh International or Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Latrobe.  Drive time from Pittsburgh Airport to Latrobe is about 1 hour and 10 mins depending on traffic. Arnold Palmer Regional Airport is smaller but does offer pretty good flights.  It is directly across the street from the hotel we recommend staying at, although it isn't walking distance.

We recommend you stay at the Wingate by Wyndam Hotel.

Discounted rooms are available.  You must call (discount not available online) and mention the Kuncher/Barr Wedding.  Rooms are blocked from Thursday through Sunday but they will let you add additional nights at this rate if you prefer. 

For our honeymoon we have chosen to spend two weeks in Hawaii!!! We'll fly into Maui where we will spend 7 days at a beachfront resort.  From there we will fly to the remote side of the "Big Island" called Hawaii where we plan to hike all of the volcanoes and see as many waterfalls as we can. Here we will stay two nights in a treehouse nestled in the beautiful Hawaiin forest and then we'll move to a private seaside bungalow for the remainder of the vacation.

We have decided to do something unique and have a "honeymoon registry."   Instead of a toaster, you can send us ziplining over the waterfalls of Hawaii, to a luau, or on one of the many other adventures Hawaii has to offer!!!! With your wedding gifts, we'll kick off our marriage with the vacation of a lifetime and we'll have the memories to cherish forever.  We've never been able to take more than just a weekend trip just the two of us so we're really looking forward to Hawaii!
