Like most couples, we met at a bar in college through mutual friends.  We had unknowingly been living 3 blocks from each other.  At a work event in September, 2007 we were officially introduced.  We shared a taxi back to the como neighborhood where we both lived and scheduled our first "date".  We were inseparable for the next few weeks, whenever I smiled, everyone knew I was thinking about John.  We moved in with each other within the first year of dating and almost 5 years laters we own a house, an orange cat named Olive and are engaged to be married.  We are so excited to share this moment with all of our closest friends and family.  Until then, we will be blistfully engaged and will keep everyone posted on our planning.
