It's truly amazing how God brought us together.  After divorce, it's hard to imagine getting back into the dating scene.   Being a little older and staying very busy as a single parent, there are fewer options too for meeting new people.  So we both decided to venture into the world of online dating.  It all began with a "smile".  Wayne sent a "cyber smile" through the dating site, but it was his actual smile in that online profile that captured my heart. One BIG problem...he lived in the Houston area, I lived in the Dallas area.  So we just began cooresponding through email, then text messages and then eventually phone conversations just getting to know each other.  Over the course of six weeks it was unbelievable how quickly our relationship grew from a simple friendship to best friends to the possibility of something more.  It's crazy to feel you know someone so well that you've never truly met in person and feel so close to someone that's hundreds of miles away.  After nearly two months, several emails, hundreds of text messages and many hours of phone conversations, we decided to meet in person at a neutral place and had dinner together...one dinner that would prove to be life changing.  We carried on with a long distance relationship over the course of the next year, until I finally decided to move to Katy to be closer to my love in July of 2011.  We got engaged on Christmas day 2011 and now...after a beautiful journey together the past 3 years we are getting married on March 9th.  We are looking forward to sharing this wonderful day with our family and closest friends and are so excited to see what the future holds for us as husband and wife.
