| | Melody and Tim met April 26, 2008 while accompanying friends who were meeting on a blind date. In other words, both Melody and Tim were playing "wing-man." Neither expected to meet their future life-long companion. The night started as a very casual meet and greet and turned into a fun-filled night with drinking, dancing, and exploring the city.
| | The couple spent their fourth anniversary together in the Hamptons at a beautiful house overlooking the water for a long weekend. They were spending the last sunset on the roof enjoying a picnic when Tim pulled out a letter he wrote, and started reading it to Melody. In the letter, Tim professed his unending love for Melody along with a proposal to marry. Of course, Melody gladly accepted, and now you are reading this, helping them share their special day. | | The wedding will be at the chapel of The Church of St. John the Divine, on the corner of Westheimer and River Oaks Blvd. It will be a traditional wedding ceremony in a small chapel with just over 120 guests, beginning at 4:00pm on November 23, 2013.
The reception will be just down the street on Kirby Dr. starting at 5:00pm at the home of Lauren Rottet. There will be valet parking and a section of the street will be blocked off to accomodate guests. The reception will be outside in the back yard, under beautiful old oak trees. There will be plenty of food, drinks, and dancing, and everyone will have a great time. | | The Honeymoon will be two weeks of fun in the sun for a Hawaii island-hopping adventure. This site has been set up so that you can participate by contributing to small activities the couple will enjoy throughout the trip. Because Melody and Tim are more interested in having a Honeymoon they will always remember, rather than filling their new home with lots of stuff, they wanted to set up this site as an unconventional way for loved ones to share in the fun. |
