Chris and Miguel currently reside in San Diego California and have a second home in Santa Monica California. In their daily lives they both enjoy such activities as yoga, pilates, pure barre, hiking, fine dining, exotic beverages, geocaching, the theatre, watching movies, relaxing at the beach, new technology, video games, and taking care of their three dogs Lola, Luke, and Lily. Chris and Miguel also love spending time with friends and family and are lucky to have such loyal, supportive, loving, and thoughtful people in their lives. 

When Chris and Miguel first met in Los Angeles they had no idea that one day it would lead them both to marriage together. Humor, love, communication, and patience has enabled their relationship to strengthen for the last four years and they are excited to tie the knot and begin a new chapter in their lives. Over the course of their courtship, strong feelings began to evolve very naturally. When Miguel got employment in San Diego Chris knew that he could not live without him and decided to get a job in the same city. Life in San Diego made Chris and Miguel learn to to relax and enjoy life more. As a result they adopted four chihuahuas named Tini, Lola, Luke, and Lily which have greatly enriched their lives.

It was Christmas Eve and Chris was playing his new Zumba Video game when Miguel kept telling him that we need to go to sleep. Chris wondered why we needed to go sleep since we had already opened all of our gifts with the family that was visiting from Spain. After many requests from Miguel to get ready for bed, Chris decided to turn off his video game. When Chris finished washing his face and brushing his teeth and came to the bed Miguel had placed a white box next to him. As Chris opened the box there was a DVD that said play me. Miguel conveniently had his computer in the room and Chris put in the DVD. On the video was Miguel lip synching to the Bruno Mars song Marry Me. As Chris watched the video he did not realize a proposal was happening. After the video Miguel pulled out a ring out of his pocket and said those magic words "Will you marry me." Chris was in shock for about 30 seconds but of coarse he said yes.

Chris and Miguel will celebrate their wedding on August 19, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in San Sebastian City Hall, Spain followed by a dinner reception at Restaurante Branka, overlooking La Concha Bay at 9:00 p.m. with fireworks. Miguel's best man in the wedding is his childhood friend Cesar Mendoza. Chris' best man in the wedding will be his nephew Hector Sanchez. Miguel's aunt Conchita Laskurain will walk him down the isle followed by Chris' sister Shannon Tucker who will walk him down the isle.

We are planning to have a party celebration in Los Angeles when we come back from our honeymoon. We will be sending another invitation with the details of the occasion. Stay tune!
