Miles and I met 11 years ago during orientation week at Sierra Nevada College. Miles and I were part of the same team at a team building obsticale course. At the end of the team building activities we were each asked to say something nice about someone else in the team. Miles said that I had inspired him to get through the obsticles because I stressed about each obsticle but then carried on. He though if she can do it, than I can do it! I thought that was cute, but did not make anything more of it.
Through the next two years Miles would call me for dates, but I was just not interested. I would make one excuse after another, until one day he stopped calling. I was devastaded, I called him up asked him for a date and we have been happilly together ever since. Miles is the most amazing person I know.
We now live together and have since chosen to raise two beautiful doggies. Jasper is 3 years old and Bernie is 1, we love hiking and playing with our boys!
I love him so much and cannot wait to start our lives together as Husband and Wife. |
