On December 30, 2010 Victor and I just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Two people who never met crossed paths and would begin to create their own memories together.

Shaker's was a pretty popular club that had latin night on Thursdays. Although I usually never went to Shaker's, I figured "why not?" The next day was a holiday and I wasn't doing anything else. So I went, danced, mingled with friends, etc. I sat out a song and watched everyone dancing from the sidelines. As I was looking around at familiar and unfamiliar faces I noticed Victor standing by the bar. We locked eyes and blushingly looked the other way as we realized we caught ourselves staring. We looked at each other again and I remember thinking to myself, "is he going to stare at me or come over and speak to me?" Of course, the latter happened, he came over, spoke and sparks began to fly so much that he invited me to dinner for New Year's Eve (which was the next day) and I said yes!! I couldn't believe I was going to spend New Year's Eve with someone I didn't even know!! But I figured that was better than doing nothing. The next day we met for dinner, watched the fireworks and chatted the evening away. From that moment forward, we continued to see each other and well...you know the rest. It was such a magical evening and we are so glad that God brought us together.
