Going to Yosemite National Park with Will's cousin Thomas and family from Denmark was supposed to be just another camping trip. I had no idea it would be a defining moment in both our lives. Tired and thirsty, at the summit of Clouds Rest, I waited for Will to get more water from his bag, little did I know that what he was getting was the engagement ring he had kept hidden for just this moment. After four hours of hiking in the dust and sun, I was overwelmed when I realized this was the moment when Will and I would agree to spend the rest of our lives together! I could not have asked for a better or more surprising moment... and to be able to include all of you, our friends & family, in this happiness brings us great joy.

Our honeymoon will begin how every couple dreams, with a peaceful 11 hour ride in an aluminum tube. After landing in Milan, we will continue to enjoy discovering all the beauty and history that Italy has to offer. There, the moon will hit our eyes like a big pizza pie and we will know what is "amore!"
