It can only be explained as "Destiny".  While I was studying abroad in Spain I had to rely on my two rommates to chose the best MIT fraternity for summer housing in Boston.  Being educated and financially savy women, we chose the house that seemed to incentivize women residents the most (in short, the residents of this house were willing to give up $$ just to have a more balanced male:female ratio).  This seemed smart for both parties and a deal was made.

It wasn't long before I started noticing Josh, after all, he was the only one in the house that refused to wear a shirt outside of business hours.  For a sheltered Wellesley student, noticing was an understatement.

The first date: Josh asked me if I wanted to grab a drink with some other people from the house.  I said yes and met him out front an hour later.  To my surprise, no one else could make it that night.  We headed accross the street and in about 10 minutes I had a Tequila Sunrise in my hand and was having my first conversation with my future husband.

The rest is history!  Nearly 8 years later we've graduated, had our first jobs, and second jobs, and third jobs, decided to take a risk on California and have been living together ever since.  We're excited for the next stage in our lives and we're thrilled to celebrate with our family and friends.
