It remains to this day such a wonderful story...It was April 23 2011, I was at AT&T Park preparing to watch the Braves take on the Giants. I was minding my own business watching the Braves take batting practice, I was taking in the warm sunshine, when all of the sudden this woman comes from nowhere!! She is racing down the rows shoving paper into the cup holders...as she is flying by me, she whips out a paper and says "HERE"! Well, not being sure who she was and what the paper contained, I inquired, "What's this?" She started to explain that it was a menu and if I wanted anything from the menu I was to flag her down. I can order and it would be delivered to my seat...I thought she seemed nice enough and we continued to talk. We talked about the park and about all different ballparks...She had told me she had been to Colorado and Chicago...Wow!! I said that I had never been to Chicago...I told her that I was going to Boston and Fenway Park in July...I asked if she had ever been to Fenway Park...She said "no" but that she wanted to go, some day...I asked "why have you not gone?" She said that nobody ever asked...well as luck would have it I said"Do you want to go?" I would say the rest is history, but as luck would have it she had to work and the game was about to start. As the game progressed, I wanted to talk to her again...I decided that I would flag her down and order something off the menu...I waved and she came running over...she asked, what would you like...I said can I have a coke...Her I eyes stared down at me like I was crazy..."No!", she said, "there is an eight dollar minimum!!"  on off she went...

Ok, are you guys ready for the truth !!! It was Saturday April 23, 2011. I was working my section at AT&T Park. It was still early, about 12:15pm and most of the guests hadn't even gotten inside the ballpark yet (except the eager beavers). So I was putting out menu cards into the cup holders, so people could order food right from their seats. I was trying to get all of the menus out before the crowds of people came in. Any way, I handed this guy (Steve) a menu and walked away to continue my job, when he (Steve) asked, "What is this for?" So I went back and explained how the process works, and I thought to myself ... "Hey this guy is CUTE!!!" Steve and I started talking about all the ballparks we had both been to (comparing notes), And then as I usually do when someone talks travel to me is hand them my business card and let them know that I also have my Travel Business. But for some reason, I was hesitant to give him my business card, (I guess because I thought he was cute, and I got embarrassed). But I said to myself "Shelley ... don't be Shelley ... hand him your business card" So I did. Then Steve proceded to tell me that he was going to Fenway Park in July to see the Boston Red Sox play. I told him ... WOW that sounds grrrrreat, I've always wanted to go to Fenway Park. Steve then said ... well why don't you come with me ... and I thought to myself "I could really go with this guy, because he doesn't look like a creep, and if he turns out to be ... then I would just ditch him and go about my way ... and at least I will have been to Fenway Park LOL !!! So as luck would have it ... Steve emailed me the very next day, and set up a date to go have coffee. And we meet at Claim Jumper's in Concord and ended up having dinner ... and the rest is history !!! BUT ... it wasn't until later that I discovered that he was a dreded DODGER FAN ... and had I known this in the begining ... this union would have never happended LOL !!! AND THAT'S THE TRUTH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
