| | Most people don't realize we met online, before the whole "online relationship" thing was cool. :) We met online in March of 2000. In July, Chris sent me roses for my birthday and I made my first visit to Kansas for his birthday a couple weeks later. The weekend flew by and soon enough we were back in different states. We continued to spend hours chatting and talking on the phone daily, wrote endless letters back and forth and saw each other on occasion. We fell in love that first weekend and throughout the years our love for each other has continued to grow! He is my best friend and together we have been through so much. We couldn't even begin to imagine what life would be like without one another!
As you probably know, we currently live in Kansas with our children, Jonathan and Meagan. We are a happy, healthy family enojying everyday life! | | Chris and I were married September 20, 2003. We got married outside at Castle Rock, a historical site near Quinter. Close friends and family were in attendance that day. We enjoyed the company and appreciated everyone for being there. | | September 20, 2013 will mark our 10 year Wedding Anniversary! We are planning a casual get-together and hope all our family and friends can come out to celebrate with us on Sayurday, September 21, 2013 in Park, Kansas.
Chris and I will be renewing our vows and then having a reception with food & spirits, cake, music & dancing -- a good evening of good fun!
| | There is a beautiful all-inlcusive resort in Cozumel that Chris and I would love to spend our honeymoon at. Any donations to the Honeymoon Fund would be going towards us taking a trip here.
When we married in 2003, we were unable to take a Honneymoon trip. In lieu of gifts to celebrate this milestone in our marriage, we have set up a "Honeymoon Fund" so we might have the opportunity to enjoy a honeymoon.
Thank you in advance for your donation and helping us making this dream a reality! | | Here is a link to the resort website: Sunscape Sabor Cozumel (for those of you who are curious ;) lol)
We have picked out an Ocean Front Suite that will include unlimited ocean views and a jacuzzi on the balcony or terrace. :)
While visiting Cozumel, we plan on taking a snorkelling tour, so we can check out all the great reefs in the area and taking a day to explore the island. Our island tour will most likely include stops at: El Mercado - a local market; San Gervasio Ruins; Discover Mexico; a stop to (hopefully) see some new baby turtles leaving their nests; Punta Sur; and a stop at Coconuts for lunch.
We are really looking forward to experiencing everything the little island has to offer! |
