I made a goal to myself that this particular summer would be a summer of "fun" for me. It was filled with country concerts every weekend from the end of June until the middle of August with a family trip to Boston planned for the second week of August. I had just graduated with my Bachelor's degree and I wanted to be sure I enjoyed my last summer without major worries. It was the third week of July and time for the best country concerts of them all considering it was a five day event! It was the second day of the event and we were still at the campground when I laid eyes on Matthew. It was something about the way he presented himself that made me realize I had to get to know this guy. It was not too long after that and we were singing and dancing together at the actual concert. With his basketball shorts and cut-off tee, I could not stop starring at him. We stayed in contact after the concerts and once we realized we only lived three hours away from one another, Matthew decided to come visit me for a weekend. It was then I knew there was something truly different about him. It was not too long before he found an engineering job near me and we moved in together.
