We opened this registry to give our friends and families the opportunity to help us toward a memorable honeymoon that is just out of reach for us at the moment. We registered with Honeymoon Wishes because we are less in need of material items and more in need of getting out of town and enjoying the sights and peaseantries the world has to offer!

We haven't decided exactly what we would like to do for our honeymoon, but neither of us have ever been on a cruise so that would be a wonderful treat! This registry gives you the opportunity to help us make the dream a reality. As you may know, we met each other initially about 10 years ago. Troy had found Trish on Yahoo! Personals, one of the first popular internet dating websites at that time. We had a great deal in common, but Trish was in-and-out of a relationship at the time and was unsure she wanted to meet anyone new. Troy was persistant and after having written three short novels to her, Trish finally responded and they went on a date. Being young as they both were, sparks glittered but differences sent them on their individual ways.

Nine years, a failed marriage, and at least one foreign country later, Troy spotted Trish on a dating site once again (match.com this time). It hailed her as a 100% match to him and this sparked his curiosity. Having just returned from living New Zealand for a year, Trish was back in Oregon to be an aunt to her new nephew, so Troy extended an invitation and Trish accepted. Instantly sparks re-kindled and we were quickly closer than ever before! Time and expierence as individuals brought us back together as a couple and we couldn't be happier to have found eachother again!

On a recent trip to beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Troy proposed to Trish on the beach as the waves crashed under the sun and clear blue sky. Our courtship has been an absolute joy and we are fortunate to have so many friends and family happy to see us starting our life together.
