Our Story

Jake and I met in 2005 through mutual friends, we quickly became friends ourselves and remained in contact over the next few years. On New Years eve 2010 we met up by chance on the streets of Bloomington and rang in the New Year together. We started hanging out on a regular basis and our friendship quickly grew into something more. It didn't take long for us to fall in love, we knew soon after we would be together forever!
I had to have surgery in November and I wasn't able to do much more then hang around the house. On November 17, I was recovering at my parents house, not feeling too great all the while Jake was picking up my ring. He called me and asked me if he could bring me lunch, I said "of course." When he got there I opened the box my lunch was in and, there sat the ring box. I turned around and Jake was on his knee! He asked me to marry him and I said "YES!!"
