Well, it all began back in 2001 when Moose and Butterfly worked at Riverside Bible Camp. The first day they met Moose had no recollection of it, but Butterfly had remembered it fondly :) Moose was in his own testosterone filled world at the time and Butterfly had her eyes set on the creatures of the equine nature. Six years past until one evening they met again over a lasagna dinner in Lake Mills. The moose was thoroughly intrigued by this beautiful butterfly and decided in his heart that he had to pursue her in spite of the fact that this butterfly fluttered 200 miles away from him. DYK (an adult moose can run through a forest at speeds up to thirty-five miles an hour) And so this moose ran and caught up with this wonderful butterfly and he is slowing learning how to fly :)

Our wedding will take place in Lake Mills, IA at Salem Lutheran Church (Kati's home church) on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. It will be fun and simple with a tinge of awkwardness :) Please come dressed as you please and please come with a smile on your face, and you will be greeted likewise.

Off I-35 take exit 214 (Northwood/Lake Mills) and go west on Hwy 105 for approx. 10 miles.
Hwy 105 turns into IA-971
Once you get to stop sign in town, take a left onto Lake St.
Church is located 2 blocks down on the left side of the road (401 S. Lake St.)

Take a right onto Lake St. and church is located 2 blocks down on left side of the road

The reception will take place at Paradise Parties in the Cabin Fever Room in Clear Lake, IA at 5:30 p.m. (It is about 30 miles from Lake Mills to Clear Lake). Once inside Paradise Parties, proceed to the right hallway and enter the first large room on the right.

Directions to Paradise Parties:
From I-35 take exit 194 (Hwy 18) and go west for 1.1 miles.
Take a right (north) onto N 8th St.
Paradise Parties is located one block north of Hwy 18 on the left side of the road
(1025 N 8th St.).

There will be dinner served and dance afterwards! OH YEAH!

There is one hotel in Lake Mills and a new casino and hotel located right off I-35 ten miles away.
