Hello family and friends. Mario and Krystal thank you for visiting Honeymoon wishes. The gift of your love and friendship is all that is needed to make their wedding event complete. Mario and Krystal have been planning this wedding over the last year and have taken this time to reflect on how lucky they are to spend the rest of their lives together. This was not always the plan for the two of them, but fate lead them back together. They started out as childhood friends, then came love, and now comes this moment. Growing up in the same neighborhood and attending the same high school, the two had an immediate friendship, not confused with intimacy. Although there were times the two flirted and even kissed, friends were all they remained. Thursday evenings at the Zavala house was a mandatory family night. Since TV was banished, only board games and conversations were allowed. This was almost intolerable for Krystal. Mario would persuade Krystal by saying,” come on lets just go play …just do it.” It's ironic that Krystal and Mario now plan to implement their own family night on Thursday nights for their teenage children. After prom and their first year of college together, no romance ever changed their friendship. The timing was off. When Mario was interested in Krystal romantically Krystal wasn’t ready. When Krystal was ready for romance Mario wasn’t ready. Life became busy for the two young adults with sports and new friends. Due to this they lost touch for 2 years. As fate would have it, they had grown from childhood friends to mature adults touching base after several years. The two decided a reunion of some sort was long overdue. A casual meeting at the House of Blues fanned the embers of their childhood crush. Finally, it was their time. They trusted each other and most of all they needed each other. Mario and Krystal have been together ever since that meeting at the House of Blues. A vacation trip to Las Vegas was the perfect occasion for Mario to pop the question to Krystal. Mario was nervous the ring would be revealed by airport security or that Krystal would discover it in his shoe while getting dressed in their hotel room. After a romantic dinner and heartfelt discussions, Mario expressed how much he loved Joseph and looked forward to someday having children with Krystal. As he was sharing his feelings, he pulled the box from his pocket and asked Krystal to be his wife… Krystal said yes!
We invite you to share in our joy as we unite in marriage on Saturday the 22nd of September 2007. The ceremony will be held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Laguna Woods at 1:30 pm. Please join us immediately following the ceremony.
The celebration of our wedding will take place at the Westin Hotel in Costa Mesa. Cocktail hour and a Mariachi performance will begin immediately after the ceremony at the Waterfall Terrace. Dinner and dancing will follow in the Pavillion Room. We are so excited to share our love with our family and friends! We look forward in celebrating this moment with you!
