WOW, Our Story! Humm, it is quite an unusual one. We had actually known one other for years, but never put 2 & 2 together until after we began talking. We have mutual friends; Mike and Danielle, but there again, we just never put it together. Once he realized who I was, his reply was "this has to be GOD"! Of course I was saying the exact SAME thing down in my spirit. Now, some could not understand what was going on, but we knew. We knew we were BOTH waiting on the LORD to bless us with that special someone; the one we had prayed for, the one that was handmade just for us. I had my list all made out--Lord he must have this & that & the other. Well, he has 9 of 10 things I requested--he's NOT a handy man; (whateva) My Daddy taught me 'NOT TO SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF'
Our wedding will be small, quaint and personal. Kevin is such a quiet and laid back person who does not require alot of fan fare. Well ya'll all know me, I'm loud, loveable and I love to laugh & have fun but, I'm also the plain Jane type; therefore, we have decided to keep OUR WEDDING simple, modest and concise.
Since we both already have households, we thought it might be nice to do something different and here it is. Again, we thank you for visiting our website and we also thank you in advance for being apart of our special day....thank you for being apart of memories that will forever be embedded into our hearts and minds. Our Reception will be held at Jonathan Byrd's Odyssey Conference Center in Franklin, IN. We will have a nice spread for you to enjoy. Remember Jonathan Byrd's has a reputation for good, filling food so, make sure you bring your appetite with you. We plan to have alot of fun so make sure you come prepared to laugh and enjoy yourself ALONG WITH US. My closest and dearest friend will be there; Singing Evangelist - Minister Tammy Dees! We Thank GOD for her! She will be singing and blessing our souls. Now, to the most important part, the food. YES, WE WILL HAVE CHICKEN & TURKEY. Our reception will be catered by Jonathan Byrd's Cafeteria of Greenwood, IN. PS--we will not be able to offer any TO-GO meals. LOL
Since I've always wanted to go to SeaWorld, my baby is taking me there! SHAMU!!! Here we come. We will be staying at a Sea World Resort and have a plans to visit Magic Kingdom & Universal Studios while there. Our plane will leave on Tuesday, September 4th and return on Tuesday, September 11th. We also plan to horseback ride and visit a few beaches while there.
Hello ALL! We are so excited that you will be sharing in our happy day. We are so excited about what the LORD has done in both of our lives, but most of all what HE'S going to do in our future. There is an old saying, "Good Things Come To Those Who Wait", and the oldest one of them all, 'But They That Wait Upon The Lord Shall Renew Their Strength; They Shall Mount Up With Wings As Eagles; They Shall Run, And Not Be Weary; And They Shall Walk, And Not Faint.
On September 1, 2007; It will be exactly 13 Years & 286 Days since I made my vow the The Lord Jesus Christ; To Wait Upon Him.............and now the wait is over!!!!!! Hallelujah, Glory To GOD in the highest!!
