I always thought that finding the man of my dreams, was just that a dream. Well, I was proven wrong in June 2006. Shawn and I have been friends for awhile, but until that special diving trip in Bonaire '06 did our paths truly cross. Shawn and I had both began believing that we were going to be single for the rest of our lives, now we can't imagine our lives without each other. We have found our Best Friends in each other and our Soulmates. We have endured the last 2 years living apart (Shawn in NM and me in NC) and seeing each other every 6 weeks. What is so great, is that our relationship is much stronger now than anyone would have ever imagined. The love we have for each other has grown in leaps and bounds and is still growing. We will make our home back in Roswell, NM not long after the wedding.

It was very important to both of us that we had our closest friends and family there to celebrate that special day with us. We figured since there was no way to afford to have everyone on that island, we would create our own Beach Wedding in the middle of the desert. We will have our wedding ceremony at Washington Ranch in Carlsbad, NM. The theme is going to be an Island Theme and we would love for our guests to come in casual beach attire, shorts and sandals.

Our reception will be held immediately after the ceremony at Washington Ranch with BBQ and salad. We will have a little horseshoes and some fun entertainment!!

Shawn and I have decided that what could be better than spending our second day as Man and Wife than spending it with friends and family. We will be leaving for Del Rio, Texas on Sunday morning to spend some time on a house boat, fishing, skiing, and bathing in the sun.

Either the week before or after the wedding we will be enjoying one of our favorite activities Scuba Diving with our friends.

Shawn and I would like you to know that we can't wait to spend our day with each of you and hope that each of you can make it to Carlsbad to celebrate with us.
