Our wedding plans had to change at the last minute due to Tropical Storm Hanna. We ended up moving it indoors to the Northampton Community Center (special thanks to Kathy for making that happen). It was beautiful, no wind or rain. The music was breathtaking, the Chaplain was amazing and the decorations were perfect. We added our own bits of humor and a few happy tears. The purple box that Derek made for me to stand on, the Red Sox sneakers worn with Derek's Tux and the ankle cuffs that joined our legs was our way of showing how carefree and funloving we are. It symbolized compromise and understanding of what is important to each of us. Both of my dad's walked me down the aisle, our mothers lit the unity candle and our siblings were standing by our sides along with our son. Family is very important to both of us and we want to express a special thanks to all of our family that were able to attend and share with us, the beginning of a new life together as husband and wife.

It was cloudy and Rainy from Tropical Storm Hanna but we still had our BBQ and it was great. Having our friends and family there to celebrate with us was wonderful. It was very relaxed and so much fun. Later that night, a group of family members took us out to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack where we recieved a standing ovation, ate plenty of food and had a blast. We ended the day with a night out at Saddle Ridge (country Bar). The DJ announced our marriage and even cleared the dance floor so we could have our "First Dance" and Heather could have her Father/Daughter dance. The whole day was filled with so many memories. Thank you once again to all those who were able to travel from long distances to help make this a day to remember.

We have finally found each other!!!!! It seems like it took an eternity but we believe that we have each found our soulmate in one another. We spent a wonderful week in San Diego, California for our Honeymoon. Due to all the wedding gifts we recieved, we were able to enjoy just about everything on our list. An amazing Helicopter tour, getting caught in a hail storm in the desert and eating different exotic foods were just some of what we did. Thank you again to everyone who helped make it a very memorable honeymoon.
