We got together our sophomore year in high school. We were in 1st period English class together. We sat in alphabetical order so we just happened to sit next to each other. We had seen each other in band/colorguard but had not become friends until then. Troy would open the door to the classroom when class started and annouce that he wanted to make out with me. Though it was embarrassing I found it completely sweet and oddly cute. We got together on October 15, 2002. After over 5 years together Troy popped the question on December 25, 2007.

Our wedding ceremony is taking place at Harbor Trinity Baptist Church in Costa Mesa. This location is special as it is Melissa's childhood church. Pastor Mike from Palm Harvest Church will be officiating. The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm.
