For those who do not know, we met each other in jr. high school and also went to Northglenn High together, we became good friends after high school through mutual friends. Through the years we kept those same friends and we started dating a couple of years ago, since then we have been inseparable. September 2007 we went to Hawaii where we visited the island of Kauai and both had the best vacations of our lives. We spent 12 days enjoying the beautiful island. Two days before we were to return to Denver we took a drive to the North shore and stopped at numerous sites, one being a Polynesian art shop where I found a beautiful ring which Matt ended up buying for me. I thought it was just a gift . Then we went to one of the most gorgeous beaches on Kauai, Ke'e Beach. Matt told me he would put the ring in the glove box for safe keeping. We went swimming and snorkeling and then Matt asked me to take a walk down the beach with him where he proposed. It was nothing short of perfect.

We're getting married on the island of Kauai where we got engaged. We both have a deep love for the ocean and the natural beauty of the island. The wedding will be held on the south shore at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort on May 22, 2009.

The reception will follow shortly after the wedding. We will take a little walk down the beach to the Sheraton Resort where we will attend a luau that includes a wonderful buffet assortment of food and dessert, open bar and 4 hours of great entertainment. After the luau, for those who are up to it, we will head to the Sheraton bar called The Point where we will continue the celebration on the dance floor.

We are so grateful to be able to spend this wonderful occasion with our family and friends. Hopefully all of you can make it. We will miss those of you that can't. Thank you all so very much for your help.
