Lisa and Matt met in Pullman at Washington State University. It was our Senior years and on a Wednesday night at one of our favorite hangouts, Shakers, we were introduced by Josh Hudson. We hit it off right away as we talked, danced and got to know each other that night. That night Matt asked Lisa for her phone number, but to his surprise, Lisa said, "WHY DO YOU WANT MY PHONE NUMBER?!?!?" Matt was stunned, but he was determined and asked her out to dinner the next night.

Our first date was at Sukura Japanese Restaurant...one of Pullman's finest. Matt was surprised again when she "got sick" at dinner and needed to go home. He thought it was over and she was not interested, but it turns out sushi doesn't sit very well in her stomach...

Two days later, we went out to the Pullman golf course and played a round of 9. Lisa won! From then on Matt knew this was the girl for him...

The rest is history...
