Walter and I met while working at Washington Mutual and worked together for a year before we started dating. When I first met Walter, I thought that he was shy and quiet, but he had a charming swagger and a pretty smile that grabbed my attention! Not a day went by that Walter did not stop by my desk just to speak and smile at me. If I wasn't at my desk, a coworker would tell me, "the mail guy came by”. We didn't officially start dating until one day when Walter asked me to hang out with him for his birthday. We went out and had such a good time that night, and we have been inseparable ever since! We have been dating for six years. We share many things in common such as the values we set for our kids, our family’s lifestyles that we share together, and the wonderful parenting skills we have. We both love to travel and have traveled to several states and islands together. During our free time, we spend time with our kids and family. On July 12, 2008, Walter woke me up from my sleep before heading to work and asked me to marry him! I first thought what a weird time that is for a marriage proposal. But, I didn’t think twice about my answer and said "YES" right away! He explained to me that there is no right time or place to propose, and that it’s more about your feelings at that very moment. I agreed, and we set our date to tie the knot on May 16, 2009! Walter and I are excited about getting married and sharing the rest of our lives together, not only as Husband and Wife, but even more so as Best Friends!!! -----
