Brandon and I met under other's tragic circumstances. Brandon was active duty in the Air Force stationed at LRAFB and I was in the guard at the same base doing my little weekend duties. On September 11, 2001 my unit was activated to work with the active duty folks so they could deploy. I met Brandon a few days later. Over the next year, Brandon and I had formed a wonderful, unique friendship. We were both attracted to one another and we were both aware without having to say a word. The unfortunate part of that was that he was married. Brandon was in a dead end relationship and was very unhappy. He stuck the marriage out because of his children and to attempt to make it work. That is the kind of man that Brandon was and is. That truly shows a lot of character and I really respected him for that. About a year after we met Brandon decided to PCS (transfer) to Tampa, FL. I felt like I
was loosing something but I wasn't sure at the time of what it was. I found out that Brandon never did move to Florida but did some remote tours overseas and then returned to Memphis. Brandon got out of active duty and decided to join the guard in early 2007 to find me. Needless to say I had cross-trained (switched jobs) a few years back and moved buildings. No one told him that when he got in, they just told him that I got out of the guard. This man lived in Memphis and joined the guard in Little Rock and was driving once a month from Memphis. He was distraught when he got in and found out that I had gotten out (so he thought). I didn't see him until May 2007. The look on his face was a look that every woman would want to see from a man. Brandon immediately asked me out on a date and I refused. I wanted to be sure so I pushed him away for a few months. Brandon was so persistent and he just kept asking and asking till I finally said yes. I said yes finally b/c he told my girlfriend that he has patiently waited for me for years and that he was my knight and shining armor and that he only wanted to spoil me. After our first date I knew that we would make something out of it. I didn't know what at the time but I knew it would be something. He told me that the moment he met me that he knew he was going to marry me. This man waited 6 years to find me and then moved to Little Rock to show me he was serious. He joined the guard in another state to find me. Brandon is my one true love and he is my fairy tale. I thank God everyday for bringing him into my life. We are now engaged to be married and I look forward to our life together. I am so spoiled.

The wedding ceremony is February 21, 2009. It will be at 5:30 PM at the Manees House in NLR, AR. The reception will immediately follow. Please join us.

Brandon and I want to thank all of our friends that have been there for us. We are so excited to celebrate the biggest day of our lives with the people we love.
