Our Story

Our story has been a few years in the making. In 1991, I met a bubbly fun outgoing girl named Katrice. We instantly became friends. That same year Katrice invited me over to her house. I walked in the door and there was her little brother Lucas and her cousin Uriah playing video games in the living room. This was the first time we met. Now, you ask, why on earth would I remember such an encounter?

Well, years went by, many many many years. Katrice moved from Colorado over the years, and decided it was time to return home in 2007. I remember going to her 30th birthday party and the first person I saw when I walked through the door was Lucas. He greeted me with a very big smile and hug. My my did Lucas get extremely handsome over the years! There were sparks! It was Katrice's younger brother, so I tried not to think much about it! A couple months later, I helped Katrice move into her new house. Little did I know her younger brother Lucas was moving in with her. More sparks started to fly! It took us a couple of weeks, but once we gave in we feel in love!

We always dreamed of the two of us proclaiming our vows to each other on a beach, and now we get to live that dream! I'm so excited to marry my best friend and the true love of my life! Who knew that I would meet him when I was 13 and he was only 10!

Things you might not know about us as a couple!

Together we enjoy: Yoga, going to the movies, hiking, art (Luke; drawing and paining &, Jessica; Photography) exercising, Wii, ping pong, video games, sushi (well, more Luke than me, but I give in), bike riding, walking the dogs, Red Robin (shocking!), and we can't wait to start traveling together!

Our Wedding

Lucas and I will be taking a 6 day Carnival Cruise to the Western Caribbean. Our stops will include Key West, Grand Cayman and last but definitely not least, Ocho Rios Jamaica. There, we will have a private ceremony on the beautiful sandy beach, just the two of us.

Our Reception

We will be having an open house wedding reception upon our return from our destination wedding!

Sunday, April 26th 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Cake cutting (or as we like to call it cake shoving) will be around 3 p.m. Appetizers and beverages will be served (alcoholic and non)

Dress Code:
Casual! We want our guests to be comfortable!

Ample Parking: There is a parking lot behind the building! Street parking is also available

After Reception:

If you are able, please join us in continuing the celebration after the open house! We will be heading to The Grandview Grill just walking distance away!
