Here's our love story...
Erik and I met in Seattle while attending a college fair in our senior year of high school.
Erik approached mutual friends of ours about getting them to introduce him to me. I told them I wasn't interested, but that I would meet him.
He introduced himself and asked for my number. I told him that I wouldn't give him my number, but that I would take his, thinking that I'd never call him.
All my friends told me that he was a really good guy and encouraged me to call him. And so one day I did and the rest is history...
What I didn't know is that during our junior year, his best friend kept trying to introduce Erik to me and for whatever reason, it never happened. It turns out that one of my friends was "loopy" and Erik said any girl who hung out with that goofy of a person, he didn't want to meet.
As fate would have it, we're now engaged.
One evening when Erik got off of work, he asked me where my promise ring was. I said I didn't know and wasn't interested in looking for it right then. Erik said, here, I think I found it. When I turned towards him, I saw the box with the ring in it!
They say opposites attract, but we have so much in common. We both love to have fun, be around friends and family, watch the same TV shows, we like to eat out, we're adventurous and we do random things.
We're looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together and welcome you to share our special day with us.

Our ceremony will be held on August 1, 2009 at Rock Creek Gardens in Puyallup and will commence at 5:00 pm.
Guests are asked to arrive by 4:30 pm.
Please note that this is an outdoor, elegant and fun wedding, so please dress accordingly.

North or South Bound I-5
Take exit 127 to Hwy 512 (toward Puyallup)
Take the WA-161 S exit (toward Eatonville)
Merge onto S Meridian/WA-161
Turn left at 152nd St E
Turn right at 110th Ave E - continue to follow to 164th St. E
Turn left at 164th St E - continue to Dead End sign
Venue and parking are on the left
Our reception is being held at the same venue as our wedding.
We're excited to celebrate the beginning of our lives together during our reception.
It will be fun and full of laughter, dancing and just sharing our special occasion with you.
