We are getting married at Sunset (approx. 5:00 pm) on the beach of Sunset at the Palms in Negril, Jamaica. We chose Jamaica as we both have a love for the beauty of the island and of its people. As most of you know, Smoke has dreadlocks as a symbol of his love for the values of the native Jamaicans. I (Tammy) have visited Negril, but never stayed there for any length of time. The beaches in Negril are some of the most beautiful in the world. We feel that this beauty mirrors the magic of our love.
We will arrive in Jamaica on August 18th and our wedding will take place on August 22nd. We are looking forward to spending time with our guests. Please join us if you can!
We want our photos to be memorable and therefore we are asking all guests to participate in the wedding by adhering to a dress code. The dress code is beach chic as we will be getting married in the sand on the beach. Please feel free to wear your flip flops or sandals, and yes bare feet are welcome!
Ladies, please wear any form of pink and gentlemen please wear white. Our wedding pictures will reflect us as a large wedding party with our pink and white attire. Remember, we will be in Jamaica and it wil be hot, so please make sure that you are comfortable in your attire.
Our reception will be held at Sunset at the Palms in the restaurant. We will have cocktails immediately following the ceremony, take a few pictures and then on to the reception where we will have dinner, drinks and a great time! And yes, there will be reggae mon!

If you require additional information on local resorts she is an excellant resource. You can book your airline reservations via a link on that website or for those of you who require first class seating (you know who you are) you will need to make your own flight arrangements. Thus far the cheapest flights from LA are on USAirways at $450 per person for roundtrip ticket. Remember that the easiest way to fly to Jamaica is to leave the night before the day that you want to arrive. For instance, we leave at 1050 pm and will arrive in Jamaica the next day at 11:30 am.
Trip advisor has rated our hotel #3 in Jamaica and the #8 most romantic hotel in the world! Each unit is a treehouse with a veranda that includes a daybed for napping. We chose this resort because it provides an intimate environment similiar to a villa, yet the comforts of a first class resort.

Transportation to and from the resort can be arranged by contacting Kenny, a local private driver. Please email him at kennyjamaica@gmail.com for more information. If your wish to pre pay for this transportation, you can contact him and pay via credit card or paypal. Please provide Kenny with your estimated time of arrival so group transportation from Montego Bay to Negril can be arranged. Additionally, please email Tammy at purrfected@sbcglobal.net so that I know when guests are arriving. Round trip transportaion from MBJ to Negril costs $60 U.S. for a group of 1-3 guests. If larger groups are arriving at the same time he can accomodate them with no problem, mon!
Included in the cost is a cold red stripe upon arrival and the use of a cell phone that will work on the island. Kenny will collect the cell phone on yur return trip to the airport.
Smoke and I will host a welcome dinner to greet all of our guests on Friday, August 21st. We will meet in the lobby of our hotel on Friday evening at 6:30 pm. We will leave our resort and go to the famous 7 mile beach at the SeaWind Resort for a beach BBQ! This event will be directly on the beach so please dress comfortably!
