So our story begins at a bar. On Friday the 13th of October 2006 my friend Kim and I were out at a bar in Canton visiting our friend John who DJ's there. This was a place her and I hung out at every friday because I worked down the street and lived close, so I could get off work, change and still go out at a reasonable time. we usually made it to the bar by 11:30 and John knew this. Well on this particular night he had a plan to set us up with some of his other friends. Barry and his friend Jesse stopped by to visit John, and had never been there before. They asked him if he could introduce them to some girls since it seemed like john had more than enough flocking to the DJ stand. Girls were coming up and john wasn't introducing the guys. One of them said something and john told them he had some girls in mind, just to wait a little. When Kim and I finally arrived she got introduced to them but I was off somewhere talking to another friend. Eventually Barry approached me at the bar and we sat and talked for awhile. That's when I noticed Kim dancing with Jesse. We all ended up hanging out together after the bar. I guess John did a good job because Kim and Jese are now married and Here Barry and I are, almost there.

We had been together for a little over two years when he Proposed. We had planned a weekend trip to Atlantic City, for those of you who don't know we play a lot of poker, hench the honeymoon to Vegas. Right before we left he called me over to the couch and said he needed to talk to me. I seriously though I was in trouble, lol, cause I had been being a little bossy about packing the car. So i walked over to the couch and sat down. He looked so nervous all of a sudden, he looked at me and said " I better do this the right way" got down on one knee and proposed. I was suprised and so excited. I think I called half my family and friends on the car ride to AC to tell them.

Our wedding will take Place on the Elite cruise ship in DC on the Potomac. We are getting married on June 27th 2009 at 6:00 pm. Boarding is at 5:45 and the ship will leave dock at 6:00pm sharp. anyone not on the boat at that time will miss it. Sorry but we have a limited amount of time out on the river and can't be late, so please be on time. Barry and I have chosen to keep the wedding small and are only having about 25 guests on the boat with us, just family and very close friends. However we still want all of our friends to be able to celebrate with us so we decided to have a party at my parents house a few weeks later. The party will be held on July 11th 2009. Seeing as we will have already enjoyed our honeymoon we are asking that anyone who decided to give a gift on here please do so before June 27th so we will be able to use your gifts in Vegas. Don't worry though. If you can't do something by that date the registry will still be open until after the BBQ. Please dress comfortably for the BBQ, we are not expecting any fancy close. It will be hot and we want everyone to have fun.
