Our Story
Jody and Mesha first met in the winter of 2008 at a local coffee shop in Franklin, Tn. After a few weeks of writing eachother they had their first date. It was a wonderful day full of laughing and sharing stories over tea. From that moment forward they spent every moment together they could. The two of them were completely smitten. They quickly fell in love. They knew without reservation that they wanted to spend the rest of their days showing eachother just how sweet true love can be.
When they first talked about getting married their mutual love of the beach instantly came to mind. A tropical wedding on the beach some place they'd never been before seemed ideal. Now here they are counting down the days until they depart for their ultimate dream weddingmoon. Knowing soon they will pledge their eternal love for one another and commit to making a life full of wonderful memories as husband and wife.
Our Wedding
The wedding will take place on Secret Beach in Kauai. This secluded beach is 1 1/2 miles long with fine golden sand, black lava rock, stunning cliff backdrops, lush vegetation, and enchanting waterfalls.
The ceremony will be simple and private. Jody and Mesha and an officiant will be the only ones in attendance besides a photographer.
Travel Arrangements
Jody and Mesha will be departing on September 23rd from Nashville to Lihue Airport on the island of Kauai, HI. Kauai basks amidst the sparkling blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, about 20 minutes by air from Honolulu. Kauai is the northernmost of the main Hawaiian Islands, aptly nicknamed the Garden Isle, the Hawaiian island is treasured for its lush tropical greenery and sparkling sand beaches. They will travel along the Coconut Coast by rental car to their ultimate destination at Secret Beach on the North Shore.
