We first met when I started at Thomson Reuters (when it was Thomson Creative Solutions) but we only met for a brief moment, I think we both just said "hi" because I was in training for the position he was doing. Then one Saturday morning during my internship, we both happened to stop at McDonald's (note that he worked at one for 8 years and I worked at one for 1.5 years) and he saw me but I did not see him. I left the line inside to go through the drive thru to get my coffee and he already paid for his meal inside. When we got to work, he sent me a message through our internal communication asking if I got my McDonald's, and I said yes who is this? So then we talked all day through that, then eventually setup a dinner date on a Sunday. Mind you, this date was the day after our annual "bar crawl" night so both of us were hungover...and barely even at the date but we got through it! The second date was where he made me his chicken parmesean meal with ceasar salad, white zinfindel wine and apple crisp for dessert! It was delicious!
