It's so funny that eighteen years ago we met at Ted Lenart (our elementary school) and never could've imagined that we'd be at this point today! Our families were pretty close as we grew up but drifted apart after awhile. We did not really communicate in high school but reconnected in college when I was at DePaul University and Alex was at Iowa State. But we soon lost touch again. Sure enough, we found our way back together during the time that Alex was deployed in Iraq...IM is a great tool ;-) As soon as Alex returned stateside and we had our first date, we knew that we had each found someone special and become an official couple in Bed, Bath and Beyond!!!
