Our Story

Welcome to our reception site!

We met at work. I (Nicole) started working for the 1st Contracting Squadron at Langley AFB, VA in May 2005 shortly after my graduation from Old Dominion University for my Bachelors degree. After his parents signed a waiver for Bobby to enter the Air Force at age 17 and attending basic training; In November 2005 Bobby reported to his first duty station at the 1st Contracting Squadron at Langley AFB. As they say, the rest is history. We knew each other only vaguely at first, but after the first movie we went to together we became fast friends. In December 2006 we began dating and the following December we got engaged. Once we received word that Bobby would be moved by the Air Force to a duty station in Germany, our June 20, 2009 wedding plans turned into a July 23, 2008 wedding in Ramstein, Germany with a reception to follow on June 20, 2009. Just our luck, Bobby was deployed for six months and thus our reception will now take place on November 21, 2009.

All rooms are two-room suites with sleeper sofas, microwaves, and refrigerators.  Check in is
at 3:00pm and check out is at noon.  The room rate includes a nightly manager's reception 
(open bar) in the lobby which I think is from 5-7pm and breakfast in the morning is included 
as well.  

The room block code for making reservations is “LWP”.  Guests can identify themselves as 
needing a room in the LWP Block or as needing a room in the Lieder Wedding Party Block 
when they call in to make their reservations.

A Special Message From Us

As many of you might know, we are a military family and are currently stationed at Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany. This journey has not been easy for us and we are lucky to have family and friends standing by our sides, even from so far away. We would like to thank you all for your understanding of our unconventional wedding reception.
